Start at Rongai Gate (1,950m) and trek through pine forests and gentle slopes to Simba Camp (2,600m).

Continue ascending across heathland landscapes to Second Cave Camp (3,450m), offering expansive views toward Kenya.

Trek upwards toward Kikelewa Camp (3,600m), surrounded by unique vegetation and giant groundsels.

Short but steep hike to Mawenzi Tarn Camp (4,330m), located in the shadow of Kilimanjaro’s jagged Mawenzi Peak.

Cross the saddle between Mawenzi and Kibo peaks, arriving at Kibo Hut (4,703m) for rest and summit preparations.

Midnight start for summit push to Uhuru Peak (5,895m) via Gilman’s Point. After celebrating at the top, descend down the Marangu Route to Marangu Gate (1,870m).
